The CPLD development board uses the MAX II family Altera CPLD chip. The FC01 FPGA Development board provides a comprehensive, best-in-class design environment to develop a low-cost and low-power FPGA system-level designs. The board equipped with Altera cyclone II family FPGA chip  Cyclone-II FPGAs are manufactured on 300-mm wafers using TSMC's 90-nm low-k dielectric process to ensure rapid availability and low cost. The board is having multiple on board peripherals as per advanced educational institution requirements. The board has 32 shared GPIO pins for easy expansion. The expansion ports can be used for connecting daughter boards and also can be used for custom made design.

DOWNLOAD CABLE
             The USB Asthra download cable which is compatible with Altera (now part of Intel) USB Blaster. It supports USB 2.0 and work with 3.3v target FPGA boards. It’s a very low cost alternative with same feature set of USB Blaster.
